Eurokey premises expansion

We are delighted to announce that we have purchased a 55,000sq ft Industrial unit at : Unit 2 Logix Industrial Estate, Hinckley, LE10 3BQ.

The building is ideal for the processing and storage of recyclable materials, with an 8m to haunch height, integral loading bays and secured fencing.

“This site allows for an efficient throughput of material with ample internal processing and storage area.  We will operate from this site with no external storage which maintains the quality of the material and reduces the negative effect on our  neighbours.” Says Joe Bisland, Commercial Director.

Eurokey  experienced an arson attack to its Enderby site in May of this year and now have a policy of no external storage on all sites.

“This multi million pound investment in the company secures Eurokeys position as one of the major players in Plastic, Steel, Aluminium and Cardboard Recycling. Our plans are to further invest in equipment to segregate and bale the material as well as the inclusion of further processing systems to add value to the material.” John Dhillon Managing Director.

Eurokey have been operating a Quality Improvement Initiative for most of this year, providing feedback on quality of material inputs from their suppliers. This has resulted in a number of suppliers receiving additional revenue from the improved quality of their materials.

The site will be fully operational by the end of November.
