Quality Initiative Update
Towards the end of last year we identified that end users were becoming less reluctant to pay for poorer quality material and also given the that demand was softening that Chinese buyers would rather buy material from proven suppliers with consistant quality.
When we see the material which is generated from other European Countries the quality is much better than what is generated in the UK.
We felt the only way to improve matters was to put representative samples of material from our suppliers through our Materials Recycling Fascility and measure the results. Going on the premisis "what gets measured gets done" we would then convey this information to our suppliers and help them improve their quality. We are delighted to say we have done this with a number of customers and have both benefited as a result.

Above a load of mixed bottles being delivered to our premisis. Analysis of the data indicates the different types of plastics present and the level of contaminants. This knowledge and information enables the supplier to take steps in their recycling facilities to improve the quality.
